Chloe Alice Burgundy and Black Top handle Satchel

There are burgundy handbags. There are black handbags. And then there is Alice, who apparently saw no reason to choose.  Introduced on the Chloé Fall 2012 runway,  Alice was Chloé’s answer to the traditional structured satchel—only softer, wider and considerably more French. The generous east-west silhouette is cut from supple leather in deep wine-burgundy and black, with sculptural gusseted sides and gleaming gold-tone hardware punctuating the handles.   The proportions are unapologetically generous. Alice will hold your wallet, sunglasses, makeup, phone, keys, assorted receipts, and probably the paperback you keep meaning to finish.In other words, Alice doesn’t travel light. Neither should you.
