This retro 1940s brooch features a classic molded white cameo portrait set inside a diamond-shaped, translucent pink Lucite base. The centerpiece is highlighted by small, circular foil-backed accents.  The centerpiece is beautifully framed by an intricate, hand-constructed frame made of twisted wire filigree forming elegant, swirling wing shapes. It is 2 in length. The reverse features a distinctive comb or grill structural backing plates where the wires are mechanically wrapped, and it secures with a classic vintage C-clasp mechanism.  Condition:Good vintage condition with a secure clasp and intact wirework. The structural metal shows a nice aged patina. Please note there is some typical age-related darkening/distress to the small foil-backed accents flanking the cameo, which adds to its authentic antique character.
